I think Douglas Squirrels are the cutest little critters. We have one that races around our yard. I scatter a few seeds and nuts for her. She's probably got a nest somewhere. Cute cute cute.
He looks like he would come if you called him. Does he know his name is Douglas? He's adorable and does look much nicer than our greedy grays here. GREAT photo.
Speaking of greedy greys - my husband purchased a dozen cubes of the hot pepper suet (on the label it says it deters squirrels which is good or they eat it all). Well, we have one that must have no tastebuds because he is always snacking on it. But what the heck, they gotta eat too. (I'm naming this one Antonio - why, because he's hot hot hot!!! haha)

Thank you ladies, they are the cutest squirrels in the land. And they have two broods a year. They are much nicer then those eastern greys.
