Winter

"I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape - the loneliness of it, the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it, the whole story doesn't show."
- Andrew Wyeth

I like the look of winter, it has so much promise.

Gorgeous photo and I love Wyeth's description. Though I like looking at the bone structure, I definitely do not prefer the cold, though I love the fall.

But Wyeth can really paint the colors and bone structure of Winter and all the mystery that it contains.

Except for the occasional snow and ice, it's easy for me to love fall and winter in the Pacific Northwest.

Still, I can't deny the austere beauty of snow and ice, as seen in your winter photo.
