Dawn, for some reason this photo remainds me of fireworks - only Mother Nature's kind!

yes Jay I do know, they are named avalanche lily or glacier lily, they grow only in the subalpine areas. these are found near reflection lake at Mt Rainier approx elevation 5000 feet.
