We have new neighbors

Or they are just being lookie loos. They have been hanging in the neighbor's tree for 3 days now. They chased off another eagle this afternoon from my yard. Kind of exciting! I will keep you all posted.

Wow! This IS exciting. Maybe they're thinking of building.

That is so cool, dawn! I hope they are planning on nesting there. What an exciting thing. Yay!

Thank you ladies! I am hoping they will build somewhere near here too. I then will have to stay home and watch them raise young. It would be very cool.

You'll have to name them soon and let us know their personalities. They certainly look like royalty to me!

They are awesome. Hopefully you'll be posting photos of them raising eaglets.
Thanks for pointing out the Black Skimmer seagull in my photo. I had never seen one before.

I heard them this morning, calling back and forth, but could not see them. The neighbor an acre away is bulldozing, I am thinking they will not stay around here. There is alot of noise. :(

No eagles, though I hear them somedays, but living in the woods our view is smaller. They could be a young pair or have been displaced by the logging going on around our area. I hope they find a place to nest. We have more Eagles in Washington state then ever before. amazing really.
