What a striking picture. Spring has shown up in your world so please send some here soon. And after MUCH searching I found 3 honeybees, but could not find #4 until I zoomed in on it. It was so camoflauged. They were very hared to find, but I love the challenge of puzzles and searching for hidden things. Thanks for the inspiring photo.

glad you got them all Sandy :), they were a bit slow this morning, but I was excited that they were even awake! Thanks for playing!

I wish I could show you some honey bees that I have photographed. I found your bees and enjoyed your blog. Nice work.

I am SO happy to see your honey bees, having just watched a report last night on another bleak looking year for the bees. Like Sandy, I found three and if the fourth is hard to see, inside a flower in the upper right, then I've found the fourth. No crocuses here yet but soon, soon.

Dawn, I think you'll really like meeting my new friends today at My Great Day

thank you very much Ocean! I will get my speech prepared and come over and leave it with you. LOL!

Thank you Abe for visiting! and I did see your bee photos, they are exquisite! I have a nest of bumblebees in a old maple here. they are amazing creatures.

Thanks for playing Suzanne! I will head right over to see your photos, cannot wait!

I found the 4th JUST when I was about to give up! Yay.
Wonderful photos.
You can get so close to the subject with the digital camera. I got some amazing photos of bees on the lupine up in Nova Scotia a few summers back. I'm sure they're in the archives of Not Really A Cleaning Lady.
Also, I wouldn't have known that my seagull swarm contained a 'skimmer'. That was the first time I ever noticed them. Beautiful red orange on the beak.
