A great photo, Dawn. The rufus hummingbirds came through here in a short burst a while back, and then were gone. Not sure if we're on their migratory path, or they just couldn't compete with the Anna's at the feeder.
The way the light is on my porch, I see the Rufous Hummingbirds who come to my feeder mostly in silhouette. It's wonderful to see the exquisite detail of this one.
