Oh, now, that is absolutely gorgeous, Dawn! What type of hummer is he? He looks a lot like our kingfisher only green instead of blue. And a LOT smaller, of course. ;)
Will miss the hummingbird that has visited my porch since I put the feeder out in early in March. It is time for hummingbirds to fly south. One sign is that I have been seeing and hearing lots of Steller's Jays. Lovely photo of hummingbird with fuschias!

this is a juv rufus hummingbird I think a female. they are flying south for better weather I wont see them again till next may :(
