Townsend's Warbler

Didn't I tell you it was there?
You could have found it without any trouble at all.
The south wind is warm;
The sun shines peacefully;
The birds warble their glad songs.
Spring blossoms in every treetop.

What a find! Isn't this a fairly rare bird to get to see - and you even got a great photo of him too.

What a beauty. Great photo, dawn. We saw them here in California last winter; one was bathing in the neighbor's birdbath. I haven't seen one this year yet. I keep waiting.

thank you Sandy and Robin,
we get them off and on in the winter. Always in the spring and summer. Can you believe the alder is sprouting already?

What a pretty little bird! He looks a lot like our Siskin.
