Aren't birds wonderful? I had the chance to see a nest and baby hummer in the Bahamas once. Never saw another one since then. So tiny it doesn't look real at that size! Great capture - you must have such great subjects around you.

I was promised hummingbirds in Nashville, but never saw one!

That little guy is so well hidden, isn't he - or she? I can see the nest must be really tiny by the size of the pine needles.

One day. One day I shall see a hummingbird in the wild.

WOW! You and RHonda are both taking care of the nursery end of the bird world. This nest is so small. I've heard they use spider webs to make it?

Hi Jay, well you just dont visit the right states!
this nest is made of spiderwebs with the lichen and moss tucked into the nest to make it disappear. she did an excellent job!
