Beautiful! We have wrens that look very similar, but we hear them more often than we see them. Does your Marsh Wren have a voice that seems far too big for him, too?

Thanks Jay! yes all our wrens here are loud mouths. amazing how much noise can come from such a small bird.

Aww he;s lovely. Our wrens in the UK are much browner and simple in their plumage. I have a soft spot for wrens as that was my Mum's nickname for me as a child. Jeni-Wren. She stills calls me it sometimes when she's feeling fondness. Having read your remark about 'little bird big mouth' I'm wondering if that's the reason she calls me it. LOL.
